Mesta Park is a unique, modern community in a historic setting. At the heart of the community lies Perle Mesta Park, which was founded in 1902 after Perle Mesta, an ambassador to Luxemborg and honored OKC native. The Mesta Park Neighborhood Association raises funds for neighborhood beautification and improvements as well as support for its local public school and overall community. "There are not many Queen Anne homes in Oklahoma City, as they were going out of style by the time the city was being built. The Overholser Mansion on 15th street is another example of a house built in the Queen Anne style." The contest continues to be a fundraiser for our neighborhood’s beautiful street lights.
